Pay your state registration fee to complete your submission for review →
What Happens Next?
Once your application is reviewed, we’ll notify you of the decision. If your application is not approved, your state registration fee will be refunded in full. If approved, we’ll contact you with your new local title and invite you to serve as a titleholder through September 30, 2027.

Financial Assistance Scholarships
We believe financial challenges shouldn’t stand in the way of pursuing your goals of competing for Miss Colorado or Miss Colorado's Teen. Applicants who demonstrate financial need may apply for participation scholarship assistance covering all or a portion of their registration and/or lodging fees, made possible through the generosity of former Colorado titleholders, volunteers, and businesses across our state.
Awards are not guaranteed and depend on demonstrated need, available funding, and the number of applicants. Applicants may be asked to provide documentation supporting their financial need.
Financial Scholarship Application Timeline
Scholarship applications are reviewed monthly from October 2026 through March 2027. Applications received by the 5th of each month will be considered during that month’s review cycle, with decisions communicated by the end of the month.
The final financial need application deadline is March 5, 2027. Applications received after this date will not be considered. We encourage you to apply early, as funding is limited.
All scholarship application information will remain confidential and will be reviewed only by those involved in the selection process.

Each Delegate must also have a Community Service Initiative (CSI) to work and promote in her year of service.
Eligibility
To be eligible to compete as an at-large, local or state participant for either Miss America in September 2027, you must: be a female, meet the age criteria as shown below, be living full-time as a resident of your state, or employed full-time in person, or enrolled full-time as a student at an accredited school/college.
Miss America 18-28: must be NO OLDER than 28 on September 30, 2027, and no younger than 18 on Sept 1, 2027.
For All Ages you must ALSO meet criteria as shown below:
• Be a United States citizen
• Be a female
• Single
• No legal dependents
• Meet residency requirements for competing in Colorado (resident for 120 days or full-time student in CO)
